Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #15063
I work with black, brown and indigenous individuals. I specialize in working with first-generation, undocumented individuals, and those in interracial relationships who struggle to navigate the unique nuances and micro-aggressions of bridging cultural differences while honoring the desires of your true self. I know firsthand what it feels like to carry the weight of becoming the first in your family to create a new path, manage the complexities of cross-cultural relationships, prove yourself to be worthy in the workplace, and constantly teeter between what feels to be completely separate worlds.
As a first-generation individual, I've faced the challenges of being the first in my family to embark on creative entrepreneurship, date outside of my race/ethnicity, and opt out of the chosen religion. I've carried the weight of constantly having to advocate for myself when other people assign their beliefs or stereotypes onto my identity.
My journey is one of resilience, and I'm looking forward to using my experience and expertise to validate and honor your experiences as you navigate life through your unique lens. I'll help you learn the skills to trust in yourself and advocate for your needs and desires.
