My name is Carie Bassett, and I am a Licensed Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I chose to change careers after years of working in the Finance Industry because of my deep desire to understand an individual's emotional processes and ability to heal. I have gained valuable life and educational experience and work with individuals who are experiencing family conflicts, anxiety, depression, and having difficulty navigating through life transitions and stressors.

I use evidence-based practices to include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy and am committed to ongoing professional development while providing compassionate and effective therapy to each of my clients. This allows me to create a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship.

My approach is relationship driven and person-centered, I understand that you are an expert in your own life and my therapeutic approaches are based on your individual needs. I have assisted adolescents and adults clients in building upon their strengths. It is important for me to assist the clients I serve in identifying their goals and solutions.
