Associate Marriage and Family Therapist# 160621
Hi, my name is Ashley Burner, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). I offer a supportive, grounded space where you can feel seen, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. I work with adults, teens, and couples, and I especially enjoy supporting clients who have experienced trauma.
Many of the clients I have worked with are navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions-times when life can feel overwhelming, confusing, or hard to carry alone. I also have experience working with domestic violence in a therapeutic context, supporting both individually the survivors and the individuals who have caused harm and are seeking accountability, insight, and healthier relational patterns.
My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, blending practical tools with deeper emotional work. I integrate CBT and TF-CBT, mindfulness, parts work, and psychoeducation to help you better understand what's happening internally, build coping skills that fit your lifestyle, and create lasting change. In therapy with me, you can expect warmth, honesty, and a steady pace. We'll work together to strengthen emotional regulation, rebuild a sense of safety and self-trust, and move toward healing that feels compassionate, empowering, and sustainable.
